Sealed Record
A record one party holds is a claim, so the audit layer is a public utility: an append-only, hash-chained account any third party can verify without trusting whoever wrote it is the difference between evidence accepted in a dispute and a vendor’s log dismissed as self-serving.

Why then
A thesis with no timing argument is an observation. This is what changed that made the company possible in that year and not three years earlier.
Agents are producing actions faster than anyone can reconstruct them, and the first real dispute over what an agent did is a matter of when, not whether. A verifiable, neutral record is only worth building before that dispute arrives — and the sealed-receipt pattern the estate already runs generalises into exactly one.
The wedge
The narrow first thing. A thesis without one is a market map, and a market map is not a company.
Publish the record as a format anyone can check offline rather than as a service: entries appended and never edited, each hashing over the last, and a correction that supersedes rather than an edit that hides.
What has to be true
Each assumption stated so it can be checked rather than agreed with. A reader who disagrees with one of these disagrees with the company, which is the point of writing them down separately.

What would kill it
One falsifier, not a list. A thesis with five has none, because no one of them ever quite happens and the company survives every partial version.
Vendor-held logs are accepted as evidence in agent disputes at scale, without a neutral record — which would mean the audit layer was never a utility, only a checkbox each platform satisfies for itself.
What dates it
The earliest artefact that could only exist if the thesis already did. It bounds the thesis from above rather than dating its formation — the belief precedes the commit, always.
