Studio assembly

Studio assembly is the stage at which a venture is stood up on conditions the studio already operates — configuring identity, settlement and agent governance rather than building them.

Configuration is a quarter. Construction is five years.

Assembly is where the studio structure earns its equity. A founding team arrives with one condition and a product thesis; identity, rewards and agent coordination are configured against running systems, and the venture is operating in weeks.

The compression is not a convenience. It changes what can be tested: a convergence idea that would have taken five years to reach its first real user can be falsified in a quarter, which means the studio can be wrong cheaply and often.

It also sets a discipline. Anything the studio cannot assemble from running systems is either a different company or not yet buildable — and saying so early is more valuable than the alternative.
